Pretty in Pink

Being a teenager in the 80's one of my favorite movies of all time is Pretty in Pink. There is just nothing better than a good John Hughes movie
to make you laugh and cry. Anyway I thought the post title was even more appropriate because this little girl is a little Molly Ringwald in the making.

These adorably sweet sisters were a pleasure to photograph especially since we were battling heat and horrific mosquitos on the day of the session.
They were troopers all the way. It is hard to imagine back to a time where we were sweating and wearing tank tops but being that I'm quite behind
on blogging these summer images will keep coming for a little while yet. Mom also purchased a beautiful ring of the girls so for those of you trying to
find the perfect Christmas gift for the lady in your life we have some beautiful jewelry, handbags and other gifts to offer. |
| A great session from the summer. This little sweetie is LOVED by her mom and dad SO much....and they recently welcomed another little one to the family....looking forward to that session soon! We had a perfect day and her perfect little smile makes my day! |

Where does the time go?

I was looking at the last time I blogged which of course felt like yesterday but was well over a month ago so my apologies for my complete absence.
Kids are out of school, busy season has arrived but hopefully I'll be able to keep up with blogging! You have to start nagging at me when I'm
lacking posts!!
Another example of how time flies is this session from last month with two of my favorite cuties in the world. I have been photographing these twins
since they were 6 months old. A smile comes to my face every year when mom calls....and an even bigger smile when I get to sit down and look at
all the great images we got at their session. This was probably the first year they both liked me at the same time LOL! Usually one is not sure and
doesn't give smiles but that certainly was not the case this time. So much fun and smiles and talking and laughing and running.......

Second half of the session we packed it up and headed to a new park right on the lakefront in Port Washington. AMAZING place. Dad helped build it and
the community did a great job coming together to provide a great place for kids of all ages and abilities to play. |

Having some fun..

Last week we brought this little guy in for some fun shots with a lollipop and ice cream. I loved every gooey messy minute of it.
He wasn't having the best time but I think he enjoyed the treats anyway! I'm sure his mom really appreciated the sugar high
he probably had when he got home, and the messy face!
Sure does make me hungry for some ice cream right about now.....
