This is where I was meant to live...

Family
|

| Napa Valley! It is seriously one of the most beautiful places I have ever been. My oldest and dearest friend lives on a beautiful quiet little slice of heaven on a mountain near St. Helena. I thought I died and went to heaven when I went there in April. The weather was hot for the time of year when I was there but I was certainly not complaining!! We ate, we drank and had good ol' girl time. Eat, shop, drink, shop, etc! So here are a few shots of two of the sweetest, and most adorable little munchkins in the world and then some shots of the winery (O'Shaughnessy) where her fabulous hubby is the sales manager....very yummy you must check it out. |

| These are in the cute little town of St. Helena... |

And I can't forget my favorite lap dog...Scout...all 85 pounds of him! This dog has an uncanny
affection for me that I have yet to figure out!?!? |

| One of my favorite sessions was one that I did a little over a year ago for a family. I photographed three generations of women....beautiful, fun-loving, gracious, intelligent, and caring women. I was so thrilled they chose me...what could be more important after all. This is their legacy. This is their story. The love captured, the laughs shared are memories I still hold and so it is with heavy heart that I share these now as the family has lost their mother, their grandmother. She is gone but certainly not forgotten. Hopefully these images will remind them of that great day and the great love that they shared. One of my favorite quotes is from E.E. Cummings and it says " I carry your heart with me. I carry it in my heart." I know that this family will always carry her in their heart. So to all of you please hug and hold those you love even closer and don't forget to say "I love you". Sometimes it is a loss that reminds just how much we have in our lives to be thankful for. |

She was a tiny little thing with the biggest most beautiful smile, she could light up a room. A total natural in front of the camera she made my job
very easy. Great clothes and great personality to boot. She had a love for the art that we were making and I appreciated that so much. Good luck
to you K. this year and from here out...you will do great things!

Most adorable..

Kids
|

These adorably sweet sisters were a pleasure to photograph especially since we were battling heat and horrific mosquitos on the day of the session.
They were troopers all the way. It is hard to imagine back to a time where we were sweating and wearing tank tops but being that I'm quite behind
on blogging these summer images will keep coming for a little while yet. Mom also purchased a beautiful ring of the girls so for those of you trying to
find the perfect Christmas gift for the lady in your life we have some beautiful jewelry, handbags and other gifts to offer. |

Second session of the baby plan for this little man and his family and we had a beautiful day for it. The family took me to a fabulous location and
the baby got his FIRST taste of some wood chips....OOOOOH YUMMY. Boys tend to have no fear of putting things like rocks, dirt, grass and sticks in
their mouth...at least my kids didn't. We then went to the house for a snack...gotta have one of those... and some more images including the FIRST
time he stood up on his own in his crib!!!!! Doesn't he look excited. It was time to lower that mattress and another sign of just how fast our babies grow. I can only imagine the things he'll be doing next time we meet.
